A final reminder to complete your submissions on the Code Management System (CMS) by 30 April 2026.

This is the last date for submissions to be classed as compliant so please don’t leave it until the last minute!
If this is your Triennial audit year, please ensure your final approved audit report and all the associated findings contained in the report (including those completed since the audit) are submitted.
Important!!
It’s essential to make sure you check that the report which is submitted to your University for approval (and then sent to ACoP once approved) shows the evidence of how every point the auditor has been checked – not just those points where there are findings.
The Scrutiny Panel can only accept those reports where they can see the evidence of all 252 points having been reviewed and this could mean your audit will be late and classed as non-compliant until the full document is received. How this is presented is up to your auditor, either using the AUDIT COMPLIANCE CHECKLIST which we’ve created to help with this, or in the main body of the document itself.
ACoP have not accepted reports which only document the points with findings/actions for some years (known as reports “by exception") so please check that you can see every point addressed in the report i.e. the things the auditor has reviewed to reach their view on whether the point is compliant or not.
All members are also reminded to complete their complaints return, buildings list, member contact details and annual declaration. If this is not your Triennial year, a self-assessment is required instead of an audit submission.
Timely completion of these requirements is essential to demonstrate compliance with the UUK Accommodation Code of Practice and to ensure our records remain accurate and up to date.
Please check CMS now to confirm all required returns have been submitted ahead of the deadline.
